1. Define any two of the following:
- Low pass and High pass
- Band Pass and Band Reject

2. (a) What is transformer? Explain the principle of operation of the transformer.
(b) Compare various transistor amplifier configurations.
3. (a) Describe Superposition theorem.
(b) Differentiate between monostable and bistable multivirators.
4. (a) Give minimum two comparison following semiconductor devices:
- Tunnel diode with conventional diode.
- LED with conventional diode.
- LED with photodiode.
(b) Explain the Maximum Power Transfer theorem and also find condition to obtain maximum power transfer from source to load.

6. (a) Explain any one circuit which is used to improve the input impedance of the amplifier.
